From trail to stillness

The hiking package at Eriksberg is for those who want to experience nature fully – combining challenge and recovery in the same stay. Here, red-marked trails, new bridge connections across the archipelago and accommodation in the heart of the landscape come together.

The Eriksberg Trail and the connected coastal routes lead you through undulating terrain, along the sea and across newly built bridges linking islands and walking paths. Open views, historical traces and the proximity to the wildlife reserve make this a hike suited for experienced walkers with a good level of fitness. Parts of the terrain are demanding – the experience all the more rewarding.

For the day, a packed lunch is provided, along with equipment if needed, allowing you to focus on the walk and the landscape. You may choose to hike on your arrival day or after breakfast on the day of departure. Transport to an alternative starting point can be arranged.

On your return, stillness awaits. Check in, change into a bathrobe and let the body unwind in the relaxation area with sauna and a heated outdoor pool, with the savannah as a backdrop.

In the evening, a three-course dinner is served in our restaurant, awarded Game Restaurant of the Year 2023. Game from the surrounding lands and seasonal ingredients meet a kitchen that lets the place speak. A wine pairing from our internationally recognised cellar is available for those who wish.

After a night’s stay, a breakfast buffet awaits before the next stage – or a quiet journey home.

You may choose to collect your backpack earlier on the day of arrival and complete the hike before check-in, or after breakfast on the day of departure. Please inform us of your preferred option at the time of booking, as well as any dietary requirements.

Our hotel packages include entry to the park, with the opportunity to explore it by car during opening hours in season. At other times of the year, access is very limited and only a small number of special guided tours are available at an additional cost. As a hotel guest, you receive a 20% discount in Eriksberg’s farm shops (excluding products from Kullaro).
