The room Kanadagåsen is in the converted Dammvillan, with a nice view of a meadow and the dam where the geese like to be. Here you are surrounded by light and a lovely sense of space, as the ceilings are high. Enjoy the restful surroundings in one of the beautiful armchairs – ringside seats to nature and the animals. Breakfast is served in the restaurant Visenten, but, if you prefer, it can be served in bed or on the wooden deck so you can enjoy the seclusion and closeness to nature.
Kanadagåsen (Tha Canada goose)
The Canada goose is big and beautiful and the largest goose in Sweden. It was Bengt Berg who introduced the Canada goose to Sweden, after seeing it on a journey in North America. In a letter to the editor, Bengt Berg wrote: ”The first time I saw Canada geese fly past on a spring evening in California, the thought of what it would be like to see them fly over the Swedish landscape caught my imagination.” Today, it is found in most of Sweden – it turned out that it feels at home in Sweden.
