Draget

Draget existed in the mid-1600s when KrogaNils lived here. The name comes from the fact that there was a so-called ”boat pull” nearby. Boat pull = The boats were pulled from Mahraviken to Tegelbruksviken, to avoid sailing or rowing around Alböleudden, which was the most feared headland between Karlshamn and Ronneby. In 1902 the Dragon was depopulated when the last crofter Anders Jonasson moved to Karlshamn.
