THE LARGEST SAFARI PARK IN THE NORDICS – ERIKSBERG
On the animals' and natures’ terms
Driving through the gates of Eriksberg is like entering a calmer world. Here, you encounter wildlife on the animals’ terms, where red deer, fallow deer, Père David’s deer, European bison and mouflon move freely across the landscape. All activities are based on promoting and preserving wildlife, nature and biodiversity.
Eriksberg is more than a safari – it is a genuine, all-encompassing experience centred around wildlife, nature, accommodation and gastronomy. Within the landscape, buildings from five centuries house a high-quality hotel, restaurants, conference facilities, a wine cellar and a farm shop offering game products, outdoor clothing, interior items and a café.

The shop also carries one of Sweden’s largest selections of hunting and leisure apparel from Chevalier, for women, men and children. A café is available on site, and the building, designed by architect Thomas Sandell, is set in close dialogue with the surrounding landscape.
Outdoor Eriksberg also offers a range of mouthwatering grill packages:
Grill Sausage Package (250 SEK for 2 people): Wild boar sausage served with bread, crispy fried onions, ketchup, mustard, and a 50 cl non-alcoholic drink.
Grill Package (425 SEK per person): Wild game burger with bread, wild boar sausage with bread, pickled cucumber, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, dressing, mustard, and ketchup.
These packages are available for pickup at Outdoor Eriksberg, where you can enjoy grilling in the barbecue hut. Please note that grilling is not allowed inside the wildlife park, but we offer Outdoor Cooking, where Eriksberg’s skilled staff prepare delicious meals for you.

SAFARI PARK 2026
Welcome to a new season at Eriksberg, from April 1 to August 31, 2026.
As part of Eriksberg’s long-term work with nature and wildlife, we are developing our guided experiences in the safari park, while general car traffic is limited and the experience primarily takes place through guided tours. This creates better conditions for both the animals and the overall experience.
For those who wish to explore the safari park together with our guides, guided tours can be booked. During the tour, we move through landscapes where the animals live freely, while stories of nature, the history of the area and life at Eriksberg unfold along the way. The land carries traces from both the Ice Age and the Stone Age, and a biodiversity shaped over a long period of time. Read more and book here.
During the season, April 1 to August 31, 2026, hotel guests, as in previous years, have the opportunity to drive their own car in the park between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily.
