Double room in warm yellow colours with a spacious wooden deck and beautiful view over the meadow and dam. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds, exclusive oak furniture and nice fabrics that give it a cosy feel. Large modern bathroom with exclusive design. The room is fully equipped with a 40” flat-screen TV with a connection for a laptop and as well as a safe. It is a great feeling to lie in one of the comfortable beds and look up into the ceiling, the highest point of which is almost five metres, giving the room a lovely sense of space. When you want to relax, you can sit in one of the comfortable armchairs and just enjoy the closeness to the animals and nature outside. Breakfast is enjoyed in the restaurant Visenten, but, if you prefer, it can be served in bed or on the terrace so you can enjoy the seclusion and being close to nature.
Havsörnen (the sea eagle)
It was thanks to Bengt Berg that the sea eagle became protected in 1924. He put an enormous amount of work into having the eagles protected, especially through his book De sista örnarna (the last eagles) and a film about the eagles, with which he started a debate that resulted in both the sea eagle and the golden eagle becoming protected. In 1960, Bengt Berg published his last book, Örnar (eagles). It was a summary of the first book about eagles and an additional chapter on how he gave the eagles sanctuary at Eriksberg and laid a table for them by feeding them. Thanks to Bengt Berg, we can now enjoy the majestic wing beats of the sea eagle over Eriksberg.
