Located in Säteriet with very elegant and exclusive decor, beautiful lounges and an inviting relaxation area with an outdoor Jacuzzi, bar and sauna. Breakfast is enjoyed in the restaurant Visenten, but, if you prefer, it can be served in bed or on the terrace so you can enjoy the seclusion and being close to nature.

The Doctor Berg suite has Eriksberg’s very best view over the Savannah. Here you can relax in the comfortable leather armchairs with a balloon glass of Calvados at room temperature and just enjoy the surroundings. The suite has windows in three directions and if you are in luck you may see the red deer that sometimes stop here and show off their impressive antlers, one of the other species that Bengt Berg brought here to Eriksberg.
Doktor Berg (Doctor Berg)
Bengt Berg bought Eriksberg in 1938 because he wanted to research the red deer. Bengt Berg (1885-1967) wrote almost 30 books about animals and nature that were translated into more than 16 languages, with a total number of copies well over 1 million. Bengt Berg also made several films and was an outstanding nature photographer. In 1938, Bengt Berg bought Eriksberg as he wanted to research the red deer. One side of Bengt Berg’s activity was his keen animal protection work. He contributed to the mute swan, sea eagle and golden eager becoming protected species, and in the 1930s he had the idea of introducing the Canada goose to Sweden. Its success exceeded expectations and today the Canada goose has spread over most of Sweden.
